The great love two young people felt for their home island, led to the creation of this unique for the island guesthouse on Kefalonia (Cephalonia).
After years of absence the two siblings, though so different from one another, had the common desire to return to their island and create a place that would offer the warmth and hospitality of a friendly house and would become a home away from home for all its guests.
And they succeeded!!
According to the local tradition, the word “volidiera” refers to the small cottages with roofed verandas, built in the middle of small agricultural estates. This name appeared to be the most appropriate for this guesthouse that’s built in the middle of a 6000 m2 estate full of olive trees.

Our guests enjoy a 6,000m2 estate full of olive trees and a beautiful garden with a large variety of flowers and herbs, while at the same time they can taste fresh vegetables that they can cut themselves from the garden or a variety of fruits from our trees within the estate.
Daily Housekeeping
We are very proud of our cleanliness and our housekeeping service.
While our guests enjoy their breakfast, their rooms are getting ready for another enjoyable day, with fresh linen and towels every second day or earlier, if needed.
Pool
An enchanting lake-alike pool in the quietest spot of the estate. A favorite spot for every guest, where they can enjoy absolute relaxation listening only to the sound of the water and the singing of the birds.
On-site Dining Service
The owners are always willing to prepare a freshly cooked homemade snack or meal for their guests along with drinks and cocktails if they prefer to stay within the premises and have a quiet evening in the garden.

Wineries Tour
Kefalonia produces excellent wine with "Robola" being its trademark. The peninsula of Paliki, where Volidiera is located, has 3 of the most important wineries of the whole island.
Cultural Sites
The island has numerous archaeological sites, monasteries, museums and other places of interest to meet every visitor's needs.
Leisure Activities
Kefalonia is a big and very diverse island and can easily meet every traveler's needs.
